“RJ’s Adventures in Temecula” by Local Author Eva Legre Zigre will be launched at the Temecula Local Authors’ Fair on March 21, 2026, located at the Grace Mellman Community Library (41000 County Center Drive).

In this vibrantly illustrated board book for children, RJ, an energetic, eight-ish child, loves visiting new places and invites readers to join him on the adventures he takes at each site.
“RJ’s Adventures in Temecula” features 13 family-friendly businesses with RJ in the lead, including Harveston Lake Park, Ronald H. Roberts Temecula Public Library, Front Street in Old Town Temecula, and Pennypickle’s Workshop, which allows for a hands-on interactive experience. He visits the Temecula Berry Co., where you can pick your own blueberries, the Temecula Duck Pond, the Veteran’s Memorial Monument, and the Sugarplum (petting) Zoo, and Chocolates. There is also Rose Haven Heritage Garden, Vail Headquarters, which has an impressive collection of vintage farming equipment, Peltzer Farms Winery, where you can partake in seasonal events, and the Temecula Valley Museum with its Touch History Exhibit. RJ attends California India Day on the Pechanga Indian Reservation and stands face to trunk with the Great Oak. He tastes some delicious foods at the Temecula Farmer’s Market before ending his tour at Temecula City Hall.
