An Urgent Call for Extended Viral Studies

SOUTH PASADENA, CA, April 01, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ — Since the early 1990s, Dr. W. John Martin has been notifying Public Health officials of the existence of what he calls stealth-adapted viruses. These viruses differ from the originating viruses in having lost or mutated the genes encoding the relatively few viral components normally targeted by the cellular immune system. Consequently, the viruses do not typically evoke inflammation, the hallmark of most infectious diseases. Martin reported on stealth adapted viruses in a seminal 1994 publication describing the combined use of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and detailed virus cultures.

1 The publication focused on patients with chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). The article was largely ignored by researchers who had failed in their own efforts to culture viruses from CFS patients. The research met with even greater resistance from Public Health authorities when DNA sequence data indicated that the virus originated from the type of cytomegalovirus that commonly infected monkeys from which kidneys were obtained to grow polio vaccine.

2 The viruses can incorporate and transmit cellular and bacterial genetic sequences. These “renegade” genetic sequences may contribute to disease manifestations.

3 The age at which infection occurs is also important, with childhood behavioral and learning disorders, including autism, resulting from transplacental infection.

4 In a recent preprint, Martin has highlighted earlier reports indicating that blood samples from colon cancer patients induced a mild form of cell damage in viral cultures.

5-7 Given the increasing incidence of colon cancers in young adults, it is imperative that the methods utilized in Martin’s research be urgently applied to colon cancer patients. As Martin notes, showing that stealth adapted viruses contribute to colon cancers will provide a treatable target that is based on the energy-driven, alternative cellular energy (ACE) pathway.

8 It will also encourage further exploration of stealth adapted viruses in many illnesses of increasing prevalence. These include autism, ADHD, Long-COVID, and Alzheimer’s disease.

9-12 Additional information is available in the book “Stealth Adapted Viruses; Alternative Cellular Energy (ACE) & KELEA Activated Water.” Printed and eBook copies are available from Author House. Dr. Martin can be contacted by email at wjohnmartin@hotmail.com

Dr. Martin is the Medical Director of the Institute of Progressive Medicine, a component of MI Hope Inc., a non-profit public charity located in South Pasadena CA. The institute is pioneering medical, agricultural, industrial, and environmental applications of a naturally occurring life force energy referred to as KELEA, an acronym for Kinetic Energy Limiting Electrostatic Attraction. Water and other liquids can become effective carriers of KELEA. So too, can various oscillating chemical compounds, described as enerceuticals.
